I'm Officially All-In On Dusty

There he is! There’s the Dust Man!

There’s no point on going on and on and analyzing why this was potentially a bad hire. Nothing we can do about it. Dusty is our manager so let’s close our eyes, put our hands up, and go on this roller coaster. Ever look at a ride at an amusement park, be like “this is a bad idea” and then go on it anyway? That’s what I’m doing with Dusty. Sure I’m going to need a bunch of Tylenol, but maybe the bumps and twisting turns will pay off.

If we want to talk negatives, we might as well talk positives. He’s a great clubhouse guy. He’s taken 3 different teams to the postseason. He has a winning record as a manager (Bud Black does not). He loves when people hit home runs. He’s black so that gives us street cred.

If we want to spend all day talking negatives and crushing the guy we’re just chasing our own tail. No point in that. I got that all out of the way already. Dusty has a 2 year deal, like it or not. Matt Williams was awful. God awful. Dusty cannot be as bad. Silver linings everywhere I look.
